Custom Software Engineer

Overview

As a Custom Software Engineer, lead the design, development, and configuration of software applications, take ownership of the project's technical direction, and serve as the main liaison for application-related activities. Coordinate with stakeholders, oversee implementation, troubleshoot issues, optimize application performance, and continuously improve software to meet evolving requirements.

What you'll do

• Lead the effort to design, build, and configure applications, acting as the primary point of contact.
• Lead the planning and execution of software development activities to meet project goals.
• Act as an SME, collaborate with and manage the team to perform.
• Make team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute to key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for the immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Mentor junior team members and support their professional growth.
• Ensure adherence to best practices and quality standards throughout the development lifecycle.
• Coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure solutions meet business needs.
• Oversee the implementation process to deliver high-quality software products.
• Troubleshoot issues, optimize application performance, and continuously improve the software to align with evolving requirements.

What you'll need

• Minimum 7.5 years of experience in SAP Master Data Governance MDG Tool.
• 15 years full time education.
• Proficiency in SAP Master Data Governance MDG Tool.
• Strong knowledge of data governance principles and master data management processes.
• Experience in configuring and customizing SAP Master Data Governance applications.
• Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Familiarity with integration techniques and tools related to SAP environments.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in software development.
