Custom Software Engineering Lead

Overview

Own the technical direction and architecture of custom software solutions, leading teams through design and delivery, and set development standards to ensure code quality, scalability, and performance aligned to business objectives.

What you'll do

• Be an SME, collaborate with and manage the team to perform.
• Be responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for the immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Lead the establishment and enforcement of development best practices and coding standards.
• Mentor and support team members to enhance their technical skills and professional growth.
• Coordinate cross-functional efforts to ensure seamless integration and delivery of software components.

What you'll need

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Siemens Mendix.
• Must-have: Proficiency in Siemens Mendix and Teamcenter AWC.
• Strong knowledge of software architecture principles and design patterns relevant to custom software development.
• Experience in managing and leading software development teams through complex project lifecycles.
• Ability to evaluate and implement scalable and high-performance software solutions.
• Familiarity with quality assurance processes and tools to maintain code integrity and reliability.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering practical and innovative solutions.
• 15 years full time education.
