Custom Software Engineering Lead

Overview

Custom Software Engineering Lead role focused on owning technical direction and architecture for custom software solutions, while leading teams through design and delivery.

What you'll do

• Own technical direction and architecture for custom software solutions.
• Lead teams through design and delivery of custom software.
• Set development standards and ensure code quality, scalability, and performance.
• Conduct workshops with BFSI stakeholders to translate needs into user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria.
• Drive functional requirements for ServiceNow modules, emphasizing ITSM, CMDB, HAM, and integrations.
• Analyze As-Is operations and design To-Be automated workflows for incident, problem, change management, and audit tracking.
• Define functional test scenarios and coordinate UAT with business users.

What you'll need

• Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience is required.
• At least 3–5 years of ServiceNow support and development activity as a Business Analyst.
• Deep functional understanding of ServiceNow ITSM.
• Agile methodology experience writing stories and managing backlogs in Agile/Scrum or SAFe.
• Exceptional client-facing, communication, and analytical skills.
