Customer Success Engineer

Overview

Own the technical side of long-term customer outcomes for Veeam’s Data Platform, leading onboarding, adoption, optimization, and resilience/dr recovery-related value delivery.

What you'll do

• Configure customer accounts and customize backup policies and storage.
• Lead onboarding, adoption facilitation, stakeholder orientation, and admin-portal walkthroughs.
• Identify migration, usage, and environment opportunities and run success planning sessions.
• Conduct DR and resilience assessments, build protection plans, and run recovery simulations.
• Apply DRMM to track and deliver quarterly resilience reporting.
• Monitor churn signals early, define mitigation plans, and provide technical inputs for renewals.

What you'll need

• 5+ years in customer-facing engineering roles focused on data backup and recovery.
• Advanced English and German proficiency.
• Experience across operating systems, virtualization, storage, scripting/automation, cloud platforms, and DR&R best practices.
• Ability to design and execute protection plans, migrations, and recovery simulations.
• VMCE certification required (may be completed post-hire within an agreed timeframe).
• Experience translating business outcomes into technical adoption roadmaps and measurable value.
