Overview

Data Engineer for Data Products to build and run KONE’s data foundation–based data products supporting digital transformation.

What you'll do

• Perform hands-on data engineering from new development through technical issue resolution.
• Maintain and optimize cloud-based data platform workloads.
• Build scalable analytics, AI, and digital use cases using organization-wide data.
• Develop and optimize data architecture to ensure reusability of data assets on the cloud data foundation.
• Implement and continuously improve solutions with a DevOps mindset.
• Share learnings with colleagues through problem solving and decision-making.

What you'll need

• Master’s degree in software engineering, data engineering, computer science, or a related field.
• Hands-on data engineering experience of more than 3 years.
• Experience developing and maintaining data pipelines on AWS, Azure and/or Databricks.
• Proficiency with AWS, GitLab, Databricks (ETL), Airflow, SQL/ Python, and DBT.
• Experience with AWS CDK and Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Hands-on development experience with lakehouse architecture on Databricks and Delta Lake.
• Strong coding proficiency in SQL and Python.
