Overview
Data Reporting & Visualisation Lead who defines reporting specifications and data structures, builds reporting solutions in Databricks and Power BI, and provides QA and supervisory oversight for dashboard releases.
What you'll do
- Translate business and stakeholder requirements into clear reporting specifications and structured documentation.
- Shape reporting design approach and underlying data structure to ensure consistency and scalability.
- Build and maintain data pipelines and models in Databricks for reporting needs.
- Wireframe, build, and maintain dashboards and reports in Power BI using design and data-modelling best practices.
- Plan and coordinate UAT for new/updated dashboards, capturing and resolving feedback before release.
- Own data QA by validating logic, calculations, and data accuracy against source and checking dashboard functionality.
- Coordinate across markets to consolidate a global report while incorporating local feedback and resolving conflicts.
What you'll need
- Hands-on experience with Databricks, including data pipelines, transformations, and data modelling.
- Strong Power BI expertise, including data modelling, DAX, and dashboard/report design.
- Understanding of data structures and schema design in a reporting context.
- Experience running or supporting UAT and data QA for BI/reporting deliverables.
- Ability to identify and resolve data or functional discrepancies with attention to detail.
- Stakeholder communication skills, translating technical details for non-technical audiences.
- Solid understanding of Media data, from planning all the way to activation platforms.
- Experience coordinating reporting/analytics across multiple markets or geographies.
- Advantage: prior experience supervising or mentoring junior team members.
