Data Scientist/Digitalization Engineer – System Standard Parts (m/f/d)

Overview

Lead the digital transformation of System Standard Parts qualification processes by applying data science, generative AI, and machine learning to engineering workflows and unstructured technical data.

What you'll do

• Develop LLM solutions for document classification, text analysis, and information retrieval.
• Evaluate LLMs and machine learning models using statistical analysis.
• Create visualizations and demonstrations for engineering stakeholders.
• Design and refine prompts for technical AI use cases.
• Support knowledge database creation and management.
• Collaborate with design, certification, manufacturing, and business teams.
• Participate in learning communities and share digitalization best practices.

What you'll need

• 5–8 years of experience in digitalization or engineering data science.
• Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science preferred.
• Experience with Design of Experiments and statistical software.
• Experience developing and deploying machine learning models in physical engineering or manufacturing.
• Proficiency in Python and JavaScript or Apps Script.
• Ability to build enterprise solutions with Google AppSheet and manage Google Cloud or Workspace integrations.
• Strong communication and networking skills.

Nice to have

• Electrical, mechanical, or aerospace systems engineering experience.
