Design Implementation Synthesis Engineer role in Qualcomm's Hardware Engineering group.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 3+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience, OR Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience, OR PhD in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 1+ year of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.
• 4+ years of industry experience in synthesis, including expertise in Synopsys Design Compiler, DCG/DC_NXT/Fusion Compiler and/or Cadence RC/Genus.
• Expertise in multi-voltage, power-aware synthesis, UPF flows in synthesis and low power designs.
• Expertise in formal verification with Cadence LEC/Synopsys Formality.
• Expertise in writing and debugging timing constraints.
• Perl and/or TCL scripting, makefile flows.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Track record of driving ideas from design through commercialization.

Nice to have

• Masters in Electronics or Electrical Engineering.
• Work on integration or RTL design.
