Designer BIM - Electrical

Overview

Electrical BIM Designer responsible for producing and checking electrical design drawings and schematics using BIM tools.

What you'll do

• Prepare general and emergency lighting layouts with switching and controls.
• Create HV/LV power routing and circuit containment layouts.
• Develop electrical power schematics, earthing schematics, and lightning protection diagrams.
• Produce Fire Alarm & PA schematics and layouts.
• Use BIM to perform drawing work and monitor/check clashes with other disciplines.
• Contribute to resolving identified drawing clashes.

What you'll need

• Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or ITI training.
• 3+ years of professional experience in electrical system modelling.
• Experience on Middle East projects (ideally).
• Ability to develop complex drawings with minimal guidance.
• In-depth knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit.
• English language skills in writing and speaking.
