Developer

Overview

Back-end developer role building and maintaining API components of TransUnion's fraud detection platform, working across the full application lifecycle.

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain back-end API components of the fraud detection platform.
• Design and develop APIs for integrating various microservices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high quality software solutions.
• Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding, debugging and testing.
• Ensure the implementation of security protocols and data protection measures.
• Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in AI/ML, fraud detection, and full stack development.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a .Net Full Stack Developer.
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as .Net, ASP, C and C#.
• Experience with data streaming and processing tools (e.g. Apache Kafka, Spark).
• Solid experience with RDBMS and NoSQL database concepts.
• Experience with developing RESTful or GraphQL APIs.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS) and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Details

• Hybrid position: regular virtual work plus in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.
• Location: Chennai or Bengaluru.
