Overview
Director of Software Engineering (Agentic AI) to lead agentic systems that run the software delivery lifecycle end to end, including orchestration, consoles, and the agent fleet.
What you'll do
- Own the product and delivery-engine roadmap across orchestrator, agent fleet, consoles, dashboards, and enterprise integrations.
- Drive build-measure-learn execution by shipping in sprints and piloting with live delivery teams using telemetry to reshape plans.
- Make and defend trade-off decisions across scope, quality, cost, and speed using data for senior leadership.
- Hire, grow, and retain small teams of agent engineers, platform engineers, and delivery talent.
- Establish an operating standard for agent-first engineering, including evals as release gates and human-in-the-loop approvals.
- Represent the platform in architecture and governance forums and align the roadmap with enterprise platform and data strategy.
What you'll need
- 12+ years in software engineering, including 5+ years leading engineering teams or engineering-led products.
- Experience shipping and scaling platforms or products in an enterprise from first release through adoption.
- Hands-on fluency with modern AI including LLM-powered applications and agentic systems for production-grade delivery.
- Strong architectural judgment across APIs, event-driven systems, cloud platforms, and enterprise integration.
- Proven hiring and talent development experience, including building distributed teams.
- Executive-grade communication with senior stakeholders.
