Overview

Director of Engineering / Sr Manager, Engineering to own delivery and technical direction for a major engineering domain, leading multiple teams and engineering managers.

What you'll do

• Lead multiple engineering teams through managers and senior managers to deliver complex SaaS capabilities.
• Guide system design and architecture decisions for cloud-native, microservices-based platforms on AWS.
• Build, coach, and develop engineering managers and senior engineers, including succession and growth paths.
• Drive Agile and product-centric delivery models balancing speed, quality, and sustainability.
• Partner with Product, Architecture, Security, and DevOps to align roadmaps, priorities, and outcomes.
• Own delivery commitments, engineering KPIs, reliability, and continuous improvement within the domain.

What you'll need

• 12+ years of software engineering experience.
• 5+ years in engineering leadership roles.
• Experience leading managers and multiple teams delivering enterprise SaaS products.
• Strong background in AWS cloud platforms, distributed systems, and modern SDLC practices.
• Ability to balance hands-on technical depth with strategic and people leadership.
• Hands-on familiarity with cloud-native architectures (preferably AWS), microservices, APIs, and data-driven systems.
