Senior Engineering Manager, Loyalty Platform & Communications

Overview

Senior Engineering Manager for the Loyalty Platform & Communications squad, leading engineering responsible for operating, integrating, and evolving a global loyalty and customer communications ecosystem.

What you'll do

• Lead and grow a team of engineers and manage delivery planning for the squad roadmap.
• Own technical operation and evolution of a vendor-based loyalty platform.
• Design and operate APIs, integration services, event flows, and platform abstraction layers.
• Drive onboarding of new countries and regions, including rollout and launch support.
• Implement automation across configuration, testing, monitoring, and support workflows.
• Provide end-to-end production ownership, including reliability, incident management, and root-cause analysis.

What you'll need

• 14+ years of software engineering experience.
• Proven experience leading engineering teams and operating production platforms.
• Background in distributed systems, microservices, APIs, and event-driven platforms at scale.
• Experience supporting vendor-based enterprise platforms and integrating them into an internal ecosystem.
• Experience with CI/CD, automated testing, observability, incident management, and operational readiness.
• Ability to operate effectively across US (PST) and EU working hours.
• Coding capabilities required: Java, Springboot, Python, GoLang.
