Electrical Engineer

Overview

Electrical Design Engineer role focused on designing and drafting electrical wiring harnesses, control panels, and schematic drawings for generator (genset) systems.

What you'll do

• Design and draft wiring harness and control panel layout in genset systems.
• Create control panel and genset system schematic drawings, layouts, and SLDs.
• Collaborate with technical architects to support transition from functional to technical design.
• Document end-to-end processes and communicate them to stakeholders.
• Analyze and solve engineering problems while managing multiple priorities.

What you'll need

• 4 to 6 years of experience.
• Expertise in AutoCAD or BricsCAD for electrical design.
• Knowledge of PLC architecture, switchgear, generators, and wiring standards.
• Hands-on experience with Creo cabling and Creo schematics is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of ERP systems, preferably SAP and Windchill.
• Understanding of global wiring/electrical standards (e.g., IEC, ANSI, NFPA, BSI, CENELEC).
