Overview
Energy Market Analyst (Support) to provide technical support for customers using Energy Exemplar’s energy market simulation software and related training.
What you'll do
- Learn the company’s software to an advanced level.
- Provide technical support to customers and track support cases from start to finish.
- Work with clients to resolve issues for SaaS/Cloud offerings and the desktop version.
- Collaborate with cloud and engine/GUI developers to ensure issues are resolved and requests are documented.
- Deliver onsite and web-based trainings and maintain/update training materials.
- Compose articles/produce videos to educate clients.
What you'll need
- 2 to 4 years of demonstrated working knowledge of power plant operations and electricity/gas markets.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related fields (e.g., Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Applied Math, Physics).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to research and learn new techniques.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal, presentation, and technical writing).
- Tools/tech experience: VBA, Python, and SQL; Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Knowledge of energy market analysis topics (capacity markets, environmental markets, demand side management/energy efficiency, resource planning approaches).
Details
- Location: Pune, Maharashtra, India.
- Working hours include shifts: 1:00 PM–10:00 PM IST and 7:00 PM–3:00 AM IST; initially the 1pm–10pm shift.
- Travel to client sites as required.
