Senior Energy Market Analyst (Support)

Overview

Senior Energy Market Analyst (Support) in the Support Division, providing advanced software learning and end-to-end customer technical support for energy market simulation platforms.

What you'll do

• Learn the company software to an advanced level.
• Provide technical support to customers and track support cases from start to finish.
• Resolve issues related to SaaS/Cloud offerings and the desktop version.
• Collaborate with cloud developers and engine/GUI developers to resolve issues and document development requests.
• Provide onsite and web-based trainings and maintain/update training materials.
• Compose articles and produce videos to educate clients and market the software.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree in fields such as Electrical Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Applied Math, Physics, or related.
• 4 to 7 years of demonstrated working knowledge of power plant operations and electricity and gas markets.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to research and learn new techniques.
• Excellent communication skills, including verbal, presentation, and technical writing.
• Experience troubleshooting issues with SaaS/Cloud offerings and knowledge of fundamental energy market analysis.
• Experience with computer and database management languages such as VBA, Python, and SQL.

Details

• Location: Pune, Maharashtra, India.
• Working shifts include 1:00 PM–10:00 PM IST and 7:00 PM–3:00 AM IST; initial shift is 1pm to 10pm IST.
• Travel to client sites as required.
