Engineer - Manufacturing Engineering

Overview

Manufacturing Engineering Engineer responsible for plastics tooling, injection mold design, simulation, and manufacturing issue resolution.

What you'll do

• Perform Design for Manufacturability analysis for injection molds.
• Conduct Autodesk Moldflow simulations and prepare reports.
• Recommend actions to minimize manufacturing issues.
• Design and modify tools using SolidWorks.
• Develop fixtures for post-production processes.
• Analyze plastic parts and optimize designs through Moldflow simulations.
• Perform root cause analysis for mold-related issues.

What you'll need

• 3 to 5 years of experience in the plastic manufacturing industry.
• Hands-on experience in tool design.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering.
• Strong proficiency in SolidWorks tool design.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Ability to perform 8D and 5 Whys analysis.

Nice to have

• Diploma in Tool & Die Making.
