Engineer - Mechanical Component

Overview

Engineer - Mechanical Component to support mechanical product design and requisition engineering for Drives products.

What you'll do

• Perform concept and basic mechanical design and packaging of electrical components.
• Carry out detailed engineering and design validation.
• Support NPI, localization, and mechanical development for drives products.
• Execute cost out and DMP activities.
• Contribute to life cycle analysis studies and technical specification definition.
• Manage technical delivery outcomes and risks for deliverables.

What you'll need

• Have a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical/CAD design preferred).
• Have mechanical design and development expertise.
• Have 8–10 years minimum experience in LV/MV drives.
• Demonstrate knowledge of requisition engineering and cost reduction (localization and VA/VE).
• Have working knowledge of CAD tools and sheet metal design.
• Have knowledge of International standards IEC/UL and GD&T exposure.
• Be able to work cross-functionally and on global assignments.
