Engineer - PCB Design

Overview

Engineer - PCB Design role in Pune focused on designing and developing Printed Circuit Board artwork to meet customer technical, cost, and market requirements.

What you'll do

• Design and develop artwork for Printed Circuit Boards aligned to customer requirements.
• Prepare layout, detailed drawings, and schematics using computer-assisted engineering design and ECAD tools.
• Demonstrate engineering tool use for PCB stack-up design, Bill of Materials, and component placement.
• Identify opportunities to improve the PCB design process, design cycle time, and DPMO.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to define acceptable quality levels based on IPC standards.
• Communicate schedule impact for major scope changes and meet deliverable release dates.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics/Electronics and Communication/Electrical Engineering.
• 5 to 7 years total relevant work experience.
• Hands-on experience in Altium/Allegro (Capture, PCB editor) or equivalent tools.
• Knowledge of electrical and electronic components (Surface Mount and through-hole).
• Hands-on experience creating footprints and knowledge of IPC standards (IPC2221A, IPC-SM-782, IPC 7351), UL and MIL standards.
• Experience with PCB manufacturing process (Design for Manufacturing, assembly and testing) and validating Gerbers using CAM350.
• Good interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
