Engineer / Senior Engineer - Modernisation Sales

Overview

Engineer / Senior Engineer - Modernisation Sales is responsible for creating and managing customer relationships, driving sales opportunities, and ensuring competitive and compliant tendering outcomes.

What you'll do

• Develop and create customer relationships in your area of responsibility to grow KONE’s position.
• Create and communicate leads and sales opportunities for the sales team (including cross-selling).
• Generate opportunities outside the current customer base and handle RFQs.
• Ensure customer satisfaction and solve complaints with the rest of the team.
• Maintain opportunity, task, and visit information for sales funnel management and provide timely CRM reporting.
• Support finance in money collection and stay accountable until order booking.
• Validate contract contents against negotiation outcomes and support tender decision (Gate 2).

What you'll need

• Experience in customer relationship management.
• Ability to manage leads, opportunities, orders, and contracts to meet sales budget and pricing targets.
• Accountability for finding customer needs and matching KONE solutions to those needs.
• Ability to perform pricing using approved tendering tools and optimize prices/discounts within authority.
• Responsibility for maintaining accurate customer and contact information and CRM data.
• Ability to gather field information about the market and competitors.
