Engineering Manager, GRC Platform

Overview

Engineering Manager for Anthropic’s GRC Platform, building the technical foundation to scale risk and compliance programs.

What you'll do

• Lead the team designing and implementing automated GRC workflows and scalable engineering processes.
• Design and build data pipelines that aggregate risk, control, and asset information for reporting dashboards.
• Translate compliance and regulatory requirements into policy-as-code with automated checks and continuous validation.
• Establish feedback loops between written policies and implemented technical controls to identify gaps and evolve requirements.
• Design and deploy agentic AI workflows (Claude as a virtual GRC analyst) for evidence analysis and audit response drafting.
• Design, deploy, and maintain integrations connecting GRC tooling with multiple enterprise systems and cloud/DevSecOps tooling.
• Build and lead an AI-forward GRC engineering function, including hiring, practices, and the technical roadmap.

What you'll need

• Systems thinking with understanding of data flow and integration points across complex environments.
• Relentless focus on data integration including pulling, normalizing, joining, and surfacing insights from multiple sources.
• Knowledge of APIs and integration patterns including REST APIs, webhooks, authentication flows, and polling vs push.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills suited for compliance work with attention to detail.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and extracting compliance-relevant data from their APIs/logs.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code and DevSecOps practices including CI/CD and policy-as-code implementations.

• Hybrid location-based policy: expect staff in one of the offices at least 25% of the time.
