Enterprise Account Executive

Overview

Enterprise Account Executives define and execute territory sales plans, build customer relationships, and communicate the value of Chainguard’s software security solutions to prospects and customers.

What you'll do

• Define and execute sales plans for an assigned territory.
• Communicate product value propositions and differentiators.
• Forecast and achieve sales quotas.
• Develop and manage inbound and outbound lead funnels.
• Track opportunities through CRM and supporting tools.
• Collaborate across product, support, and sales engineering to improve the sales cycle.
• Understand competitors and their offerings.

What you'll need

• 8+ years of SaaS or security sales experience.
• A strong track record of exceeding sales targets.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of relevant compute, DevOps, CI/CD, or software development lifecycle technologies.
• Ability to learn products and processes quickly.
• Willingness to travel to clients when required.

Nice to have

• SaaS or developer tools sales experience.
• Startup experience.
• Strong sales aptitude and understanding of the sales process.
• Tech-savvy business acumen and ability to articulate complex value propositions.
