Enterprise Architect

Overview

The Enterprise Architect designs, documents, and guides implementation of technical solutions for customers after the sale of Veeam products.

What you'll do

• Lead technical discovery sessions to assess customer environments and requirements.
• Develop solution architectures and produce low-level design documents, specifications, and implementation plans.
• Work with project managers and stakeholders to define scope, deliverables, timelines, and resource needs.
• Provide hands-on implementation support and technical oversight during deployment and post-sales implementation.
• Collaborate with Pre-Sales, Sales, and Customer Success to ensure a smooth handoff from design to delivery.
• Evaluate emerging technologies to enhance solution architectures.

What you'll need

• Extensive IT experience, including solution architecture or technical leadership roles.
• Deep expertise in data protection, backup & recovery, disaster recovery, and cybersecurity.
• Hands-on experience with containers (Docker, Kubernetes) and container security.
• Strong knowledge of virtualization, cloud platforms, and enterprise storage.
• Understanding of networking, security, compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST), and IT governance.
• Required certifications: AWS/Azure Solutions Architect, VMware VCP, CISSP (or equivalent).

• Location: Remote, United States.
• Potential travel to support global enterprise deployments.
• Preferred: TOGAF (or equivalent), Veeam VMCE, and automation/scripting experience (PowerShell, Python).
