Enterprise Sales Executive

Overview

Drive new business and expand strategic enterprise accounts by selling Datadog solutions to large organizations operating in or migrating to cloud environments.

What you'll do

• Prospect into Fortune 1000 companies.
• Build and manage territory relationship maps.
• Understand customers’ businesses and pain points.
• Negotiate pricing and business terms using value and ROI.
• Expand reach within assigned territories and existing accounts.
• Develop business drivers and customer validation for opportunities.
• Maintain accurate sales forecasts and close new business.

What you'll need

• 3+ years of closing experience in mid-market or enterprise field sales.
• Experience meeting or exceeding direct sales goals of $1M+.
• Experience with average deal sizes of $100k+.
• Ability to prospect and build pipeline independently.
• Experience selling to large Fortune 1000 companies and winning new logos.
• Ability to travel by auto, train, or air for up to 70% of the time.

Nice to have

• Experience at an innovative technology company, preferably SaaS or IT infrastructure.
• Sales training in MEDDIC and Command of the Message.
