Equipment Specialist

Overview

Equipment Specialist at MKS Atotech India providing equipment support to assigned customers and guiding Service Engineers, reporting to the Service Manager – Equipment (Location: Pune).

What you'll do

• Provide immediate on-site response and critical support during machine breakdowns to achieve the targeted MTTR.
• Plan and execute periodic preventive maintenance procedures, and implement retrofit/upgradation of equipment as necessary to ensure targeted MTBF and machine availability.
• Work closely with product management teams, Regional teams and Tech Centers to implement auxiliary equipment strategy and ensure optimum chemistry performance at customers.
• Provide training and guidance to Equipment Service Engineers and develop the team.
• Provide necessary training to customer personnel to implement periodic maintenance schedules and resolve breakdowns.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners in the region.
• Address customer inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Conduct regular customer visits and meetings to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
• Analyze data, prepare reports, and present findings.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with strong electro-mechanical knowledge.
• Experience with use of latest equipment control processes.
• 5 - 10 years of relevant experience in equipment support.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyze data, prepare reports, and present findings.
• Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Nice to have

• Experience in equipment support to electroplating / surface finishing industry.

Details

• Location: India, Remote.
• Reports to the Service Manager – Equipment (Location: Pune).
• Travel: up to 50% of time.
