ER & Policies Specialist

Overview

Employee Relations & Policies (L9) specialist role responsible for independently managing complex ER cases, investigations, and policy advisory for senior stakeholders.

What you'll do

• Independently manage complex and sensitive employee relations cases.
• Lead end-to-end investigations including fact finding, interviews, documentation, assessment, recommendations, and closure.
• Handle sensitive cases involving mental health issues, police matters, court proceedings, and similar concerns.
• Recommend and execute appropriate disciplinary actions, including warnings, final actions, or terminations.
• Provide expert interpretation of HR policies, Code of Business Ethics, and internal governance standards.
• Proactively identify trends and systemic risks to prevent escalations and litigation.

What you'll need

• Typically 6-7 years of HR/ER experience with hands-on ER exposure.
• Experience managing investigations and senior-stakeholder ER cases.
• Solid understanding of employment law principles and internal compliance.
• Functional expertise in employee relations, investigations, and HR policies.
• Strong emotional intelligence and active listening.
• Ability to assess behavior, motivation, and situational context.
• Prior requirement level indicator: operates with close supervision and recognized as an ER & policies subject-matter expert.
