Events Manager

Overview

Lead day-to-day event activities for JLL's client across APAC offices, working with vendors and site teams to deliver flawless events.

What you'll do

• Lead the day-to-day event activities in the client's APAC offices.
• Ensure all aspects of the site meet OH&S standards and keep administrative activities under control.
• Resolve event-related issues, including cleaning, parking, conference/meeting rooms and interior furnishings and fixtures.
• Coordinate with catering vendors, event hosts, production crews, AV and site teams, and review their work to keep them aligned with the game plan.
• Create and update the facilities event playbook and event training materials.
• Provide event trainings to teams, users and vendors, and work with site leads to roll out event-related standards and initiatives.
• Support projects and provide feedback for event spaces and new builds.
• Author and manage the content and design for the Facilities internal page in country.
• Keep in touch with key stakeholders and users and maintain quality across all sites.
• Maintain an events tracker and report at the end of each month.

What you'll need

• Degree or diploma in Business Administration, Hospitality, Facilities or a similar discipline.
• At least five years of experience in these fields.
• Familiarity with everything set out in the scope of work.
• Ability to stay level-headed in high-stakes situations and find solutions quickly.
• Stamina for working long hours and hectic schedules.

Nice to have

• Experience working in logistics management, here, abroad or anywhere else.
• Highly sociable, open to new ideas, and skilled at dealing with clients and vendors.
