Overview
Experienced AI-ML Engineer developing and deploying AI/ML, GenAI, and engineering data analytics solutions for aerospace applications.
What you'll do
- Develop machine learning and data analytics solutions to improve aircraft and fleet efficiency.
- Apply statistical, probabilistic, predictive analytics, and deep learning techniques across aerospace functions.
- Conduct proofs of concept and support adoption of new tools and technologies.
- Mentor and guide junior data scientists on technical work and career growth.
- Collaborate with international software development and research engineering teams.
- Document research and development results through progress reports and project summaries.
- Track performance against project plans and requirements.
What you'll need
- 8+ years of expertise in AI software development and data analytics.
- Experience building and deploying GenAI/LLM-powered solutions.
- Hands-on experience across the ML lifecycle, including pipelines, training, deployment, monitoring, and optimization.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Strong written, oral, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Research experience developing technologies and solutions through data science and analytics.
- Willingness to work flexible hours to interface with global Boeing personnel.
Nice to have
- Experience building and productizing machine learning and deep learning models.
- Proficiency in Python or R Studio.
- Experience with LLMs, agentic systems, information retrieval, and advanced ML paradigms.
- Experience with MLOps, containerization, deployment, data management, and monitoring.
- Experience with synthetic data generation, domain adaptation, or self-supervised learning.
- Experience with CI/CD, version control, testing, and requirements traceability.
- Experience with Tableau or Power BI.
