Field Service Engineer 2

Overview

Field Service Engineer 2 role performing preventative maintenance, installations, troubleshooting, and repairs on medical equipment for one or more modalities within a hospital or healthcare system in the Tulsa, OK area.

What you'll do

• Assist customers in the use of instruments and systems and provide educational programs as required.
• Train customers on the use of computerized systems.
• Troubleshoot customer complaints and perform necessary repairs.
• Work with service engineering team members and other staff to develop effective solutions for complex customer requirements.
• Develop and maintain customer relationships to ensure high levels of satisfaction.
• Conduct intake meetings at customer sites to understand needs, establish service plans, set expectations, and ensure follow-through.
• Coordinate and manage multiple priorities to complete assigned tasks within established timeframes.
• Utilize data analysis skills to resolve customer issues and identify opportunities.
• Leverage knowledge base to solve customer challenges.
• Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and decision making abilities.
• Maintain appropriate documentation for services performed, including troubleshooting steps and test equipment results.
• Perform other duties as may be assigned.

What you'll need

• Associate's degree, Bachelor's degree, military education, or High School Diploma/GED with 6+ years of experience servicing electrical equipment.
• 2+ years of experience servicing medical equipment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to analyze and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Ability to be available after-hours and/or work a rotating on-call schedule, including weekends.

Nice to have

• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 35 lbs. unassisted and frequently bend, stoop, twist, climb, crouch or squat, kneel or crawl, sit and stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to reach at, above and below shoulder level, flex or extend neck, and have good hand and finger dexterity.
