Field Service Engineer (Enterprise service Asset performance management)

Overview

Field Service Engineer supporting customers through installation, implementation, maintenance, and repair of company and multi-vendor systems, including hardware, software, networking, and operating systems.

What you'll do

• Perform on-site installation, implementation, and maintenance/repair of customer systems.
• Install and optimize hardware/software/network products and configurations at customer sites.
• Diagnose and resolve product performance problems.
• Advise customers on preventive maintenance and configurations affecting product performance.
• Proactively respond to potential equipment/software issues to prevent unplanned customer business interruption.
• Serve as an internal technical resource and manage product escalations.
• Collaborate with Support, Sales, Marketing, and R&D to provide customer solutions.

What you'll need

• Typically requires at least 4+ years of relevant experience for this level.
• Requires a Bachelor's or Master's Degree or equivalent.
• Post-graduate education, certification, and/or a license may be required.
• Must meet Agilent approved customer/vendor credentialing requirements to access customer sites.
• Travel requirement is 100% of the time.
