FIKYC JP - Manager [Client Outreach]

Overview

Manager for the MUFG Know Your Customer (KYC) Client Outreach team, leading end-to-end client outreach for onboarding, periodic reviews, and remediation. The role coordinates KYC/AML compliance activities, documentation collection, reporting, and team training.

What you'll do

• Serve as primary point of contact for clients on KYC and regulatory documentation requirements.
• Manage end-to-end client outreach for new client onboarding, periodic reviews, remediation, and trigger events.
• Coordinate client onboarding, KYC periodic reviews, and remediation for multiple client types.
• Ensure AML/KYC compliance, including CDD/EDD and sanctions/beneficial ownership-related requirements.
• Monitor outreach effectiveness and case progression against defined KPIs and SLAs, and escalate overdue/critical issues.
• Provide stakeholder updates and facilitate meetings on aging cases, escalations, and progress.
• Lead the outreach team by mentoring, supporting training, and driving performance and quality standards.

What you'll need

• 5-9 years of experience in KYC process, client outreach, and anti-money laundering (AML) with proficiency in various entity types.
• 3+ years of team handling experience leading KYC due diligence/client outreach for global banks using a risk-based approach (preferred).
• Experience handling regulatory remediation programs and periodic reviews.
• Experience managing high-volume client outreach and documentation collection programs.
• Strong knowledge of AML/KYC including CDD, EDD, sanctions compliance, and beneficial ownership regulations.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting tools.
• Graduation in Commerce/Finance or equivalent (10+2+3) is essential.
