Financial Crime Review Analyst

Overview

Financial Crime Review Analyst responsible for transaction activity reviews, investigations, and customer due diligence for potentially suspicious activity and elevated money laundering/terrorist financing risk.

What you'll do

• Review and investigate alerts and perform investigations or enhanced due diligence reviews.
• Make risk-based Suspicious Activity Reporting (SAR) recommendations and prepare SARs.
• Conduct periodic holistic reviews of higher-risk individuals or entities.
• Review and investigate potential matches with sanctions lists.
• Maintain working knowledge of AML and sanctions rules and regulations.
• Assist with SAR and/or enhanced due diligence (EDD) reviews for higher inherent risk and/or sanctions screening cases.

What you'll need

• High school diploma.
• Minimum 1-year experience in financial services financial crime compliance management, retail banking, commercial banking, and/or global diversified financial services organizations.
• Knowledge of money laundering laws including BSA, USA PATRIOT Act, OFAC requirements, and SAR requirements.
• Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills with ability to multi-task and complete projects on time.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and on-line research systems/Internet.
• Detail-oriented ability to multitask and adapt to changing assignments.
