Overview

Firmware Test Engineer focused on validating firmware/embedded systems using real hardware and long-loop testing to find failures early.

What you'll do

Test device functionality in collaboration with firmware engineers.
Identify regressions in firmware.
Investigate firmware/system failures to determine what broke and why.
Run systems in long loops with real hardware.
Work toward building test automation over time.
Contribute to hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) setups and firmware CI/CD pipelines over time.

What you'll need

2–3 years of hands-on experience in firmware or embedded systems.
Ability to understand how devices behave in real-world conditions.
Comfort with working with real hardware.
Experience investigating failures with a focus on root cause (“why”).
