Overview

Forward Deployed Engineer (contract) embedded in client delivery, shipping production software that meets SLAs and moves client metrics using AI coding agents.

What you'll do

Build solutions directly with customers to solve real problems.
Work across front-end, back-end, data pipelines, and AI models.
Operate in “cockpit mode,” steering agents that execute tasks.
Use AI coding agents to write code, run tests, open PRs, and update tickets.
Make trade-offs between elegant code and shipping fast.
Help hiring by identifying candidates who can operate at this speed.

What you'll need

3-5 years of software engineering experience.
Strong coding skills across multiple languages.
Comfort working in ambiguous environments without a map.
Deep mastery of a craft area (engineering/BA/QA/design or domain) with strong judgment.
Comfort using a terminal.
Hours every day working with AI coding agents (e.g., Claude Code, Codex, or equivalent).
Clear, precise writing to explain reasoning and direct AI agents.
