Overview
Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) partnering with US and Europe customers to build, deploy, and improve production-grade software solutions using an AI-powered platform.
What you'll do
- Work directly with customers in the US and Europe to understand technical and business challenges.
- Build, customize, and deploy solutions using Emergent’s AI-powered platform.
- Prototype and iterate on production-grade applications.
- Debug complex issues across applications, integrations, APIs, and workflows.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams to drive customer outcomes.
- Turn recurring customer problems into scalable product and process improvements.
- Own projects end-to-end from requirements to deployment and iteration.
What you'll need
- Strong software engineering or technical problem-solving experience.
- Experience building and deploying web applications or software products.
- Comfort working with APIs, databases, debugging, and integrations.
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies and work across the stack.
- Strong understanding of software development fundamentals.
- Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.
- Strong ownership mindset and ability to work independently in ambiguous situations.
Nice to have
- Experience with AI/LLM-based tools.
