Fraud Specialist 1

Overview

Fraud Operations Specialist focused on investigating and mitigating fraud and abuse on Twilio’s communications platform for a global team.

What you'll do

• Investigate fraud cases quickly and efficiently.
• Analyze non-compliant traffic to understand bad actor behavior.
• Identify bad actors and fraudulent activity and take daily action to stop abuse.
• Minimize false positives while protecting customers and the platform.
• Identify trends and root causes and recommend preventative solutions.
• Use a variety of tools to prevent, respond, and mitigate fraud across Twilio products.

What you'll need

• Willingness to work a non-traditional schedule including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with a strong bias for action.
• Previous experience in customer service or a customer-facing role requiring empathetic communication.
• 1–2 years experience working in a queue based/contact center environment.
• Basic knowledge of SQL, Looker, Tableau, or similar tools (desired).
• Basic understanding of APIs and related technologies (desired).

Details

• Full-time role based remotely in Estonia.
• Occasional travel may be required for in-person team meetings.
