GBS Finance Transition Program Coordinator

Overview

GBS Finance Transition Program Coordinator responsible for supporting transition project managers and coordinating finance process transition to Caterpillar GBS locations.

What you'll do

• Support transition project planning, knowledge transfer, ramp-up/service readiness testing, and stabilization.
• Coordinate transition governance and knowledge transfer meetings and milestone calls with GBS Transition Managers.
• Manage program-level issues/actions and maintain risk registers/FMEAs, scope change requests/logs, and work plans.
• Capture and publish meeting minutes and provide workshop planning, execution, and follow-up assistance.
• Create and update detailed schedules in MSProject and analyze schedule updates for logic errors.
• Facilitate project teams and support chartering sessions, network diagram development, and integration/compression sessions.

What you'll need

• Three to five years of progressive experience in GBS Transition Project Management.
• Experience creating detailed work plans within MSProject, including duration-based activities, resource forecasts, and scope.
• Expertise in MSProject, PowerPoint, and SharePoint tools.
• Ability to interpret and transfer WBS into project management software.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Four-year college or university degree.

Details

• Onsite work required five days a week.
• Preference to be based out of Whitefield Office, Bangalore, India.
