Global Procurement Market Intelligence & Analytics Manager

Overview

Manage procurement market intelligence, analytics, commercial insights, and supplier intelligence for Polymers and broader Direct Materials categories. Translate complex data into recommendations that support category strategy, savings, innovation, and procurement performance.

What you'll do

• Coordinate short-term procurement initiatives and corporate requests.
• Own action plans for VAVE, NPI procurement optimization, and supplier innovation.
• Support category reporting across defined weekly and monthly KPIs.
• Develop analytics and insights from ERP, supplier, market intelligence, and GEP data.
• Identify commercial opportunities across supplier and contractual partnerships.
• Support supplier reviews, tendering, segmentation, and executive presentations.

What you'll need

• Engineering degree or higher from an accredited institution.
• 12–15 years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, commercial analysis, supply chain, or related analytical roles.
• Experience in procurement, category analytics, commercial analysis, market intelligence, and supplier insights.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and working knowledge of SAP and Power BI.
• Ability to analyse complex data and provide stakeholder recommendations.
• Strong financial, mathematical, statistical, communication, and data visualization skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Direct Materials, Polymers, or similar global procurement categories.
• Experience with should-cost modelling, savings identification, and category strategy development.
• Familiarity with feedstock and index-based pricing models.
• Experience supporting supplier reviews, tendering, and procurement reporting.
