Lead Engineer - Throughput Simulations (DES)

Overview

Lead Engineer focused on discrete event throughput simulations for manufacturing systems using Plant Simulation. You will analyze process flows, build simulation models, and recommend optimizations to improve cycle times, resource utilization, and system efficiency.

What you'll do

• Conceptualize, build, simulate, and optimize discrete event models using Plant Simulation.
• Conduct throughput analysis, bottleneck identification, and logistics simulation & optimization.
• Analyze data and represent process flows effectively in simulation models for process improvement.
• Provide recommendations to optimize resource utilization, cycle times, and system efficiency.
• Lead and coordinate simulation and planning efforts between teams for optimal solutions.
• Develop design solutions to improve facility throughput and deliver results to schedules.

What you'll need

• B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical / Production / Industrial / Automobile.
• 10-15 years in Automobile / Mechanical allied engineering industry in simulation.
• Experience in throughput simulation analysis for manufacturing systems.
• Expert knowledge of Throughput Simulation software using Plant Simulation.
• Expert knowledge in coding logic using Simtalk2.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, Python preferred).
• High level analytical ability and problem-solving skills.

Details

• Work arrangement: hybrid; expected to report to the office four times per week.
• Ability to travel is required.
