Health Informatics Course Editor (Contract)

Overview

Review and edit existing college-level Health Informatics course structure and materials to ensure they meet current academic standards and industry requirements. This is an online, remote contract role paid per hour.

What you'll do

• Evaluate and adjust recommended updates to existing course structure
• Review course learning outcomes and competencies for accuracy and alignment with current health informatics standards
• Edit skill-oriented course sections and ensure proper organization of topics such as electronic health records, health data management, and healthcare IT systems
• Review and refine response assignment prompts and rubrics
• Evaluate existing multiple choice questions for quality and accuracy

What you'll need

• Master's degree or higher in Health Informatics, Health Information Management, Health IT, Biomedical Informatics, or a closely related field
• Experience teaching courses in a college or university setting
• Experience creating, updating, or revising courses at a college or university level
• Strong working knowledge of healthcare data systems, electronic health records (EHR), and health information technology

Nice to have

• Strong time management skills to meet due dates
• Receptiveness to feedback and willingness to revise submitted work as needed
• Ability to collaborate with curriculum designers to create high-quality course deliverables

• Location: Remote, India
• Fully online, work-from-home contract; work when and where you want, with no minimums or maximums
• Paid per hour, with payments twice a month and automated invoicing
• Contract process: applications approved and contracts sent on Wednesdays; contract must be signed within the 5-day signing window; onboarding instructions follow the next Wednesday
