Overview
Work as a Senior Engineer in hardware design, developing and supporting high-speed and mixed-speed board designs across the product development lifecycle.
What you'll do
- Develop requirement definitions aligned with the customer.
- Perform testing, verification, characterization and documentation according to procedures and standards.
- Manage time estimation for design activities.
- Provide hardware support for new development and improve existing and new designs.
- Derive hardware design requirements from EMI, EMC, safety and automotive EMC/transient test standards.
- Perform, optimize and resolve failures from EMI, EMC and automotive EMC/transient measurements and test durations as specified in the measurement requirements.
- Draft accurate schematics and layouts.
- Monitor and maintain the safety and quality of products.
- Write testing and development documentation.
- Prepare bills of material efficiently.
What you'll need
- B.E./M.E., B.Tech./M.Tech. or equivalent.
- Experience across all stages of the product development lifecycle.
- High-speed and mixed-speed board design experience.
- Working experience in hardware design of microprocessors including TI, Freescale, NXP, Qualcomm, Ambarella and STM.
- Experience with memories including DDR2/3/4/5, LPDDR2/3/4/5 and eMMC.
- Experience with interfaces including Ethernet, SATA, MIPI DSI/CSI, Gigabit Ethernet and HDMI.
- High-speed board designing experience.
- Multi-layer board design experience.
- Signal integrity and power integrity simulation experience.
- Board bring-up experience.
- EDVT testing experience.
- Experience in both digital design and analog design.
- EMI, EMC, electrical safety and automotive EMC compliance testing experience.
- Experience using lab instruments such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, function generators and logic analyzers.
