HR Data Specialist

Overview

HR Data Specialist responsible for maintaining accurate employee records and processing HR transactions in Workday/HCM systems, including payroll reconciliation and benefits/leave administration.

What you'll do

• Maintain and/or approve employee record data (transfers, personal info, title changes) entered in Workday via Manager or Employee Direct Access.
• Complete pending new hire transactions in Workday HCM after candidates reach Ready to Hire in the ATS.
• Support employee movement, status, time off/leave of absence, payroll, benefits/leaves, performance check-ins, and compensation by keeping data accurate and timely in Workday.
• Ensure integrity of employee records and Workday data for legal and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain supervisory organizations, organization assignments, and position titles in Workday.
• Perform weekly payroll reconciliation by reviewing audit reports, analyzing discrepancies, and updating as needed.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and minimum 1 year working with HRIS/HCM systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, continuously changing environment.
• Detail-oriented with focus on accuracy and quality.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel with ability to manipulate data and learn required business systems.
• Ability to learn quickly and apply knowledge effectively.
