HR Generalist | India & APAC

Overview

The HR Generalist provides day-to-day HR support for employees and managers across India and APAC, acting as a primary HR point of contact.

What you'll do

• Serve as the main HR contact for India/APAC employees and managers and guide them on HR policies and processes.
• Support and, when needed, lead employee relations by coaching managers, handling concerns, and facilitating conflict resolution.
• Own onboarding for India and APAC, including pre-hire documentation, Day 1 orientation, and 30/60/90-day touchpoints.
• Coordinate compliant offboarding, including exit interviews, payroll final inputs, and systems/access changes.
• Coordinate monthly payroll inputs for India and applicable APAC locations with Payroll and Finance.
• Support benefits administration and coordinate vendor interactions for benefits enrollments and changes.
• Maintain accurate, compliant employee records in HRIS and local systems and support local compliance and audits.

What you'll need

• 3–5 years of progressive HR experience in a similar HR Generalist or HR Operations role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build trust with employees and managers.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple priorities.
• Hands-on experience with HR and payroll systems; ADP and GreytHR preferred.
• Working knowledge of Indian labour and employment laws and HR compliance requirements.
