Human Resources Operations Specialist

Overview

Human Resources Operations Specialist roles in Chennai supporting onboarding, employee data management, and HR operations across the employee lifecycle, with two opportunities covering North America and EMEA.

What you'll do

• Support new-hire onboarding to ensure a seamless employee experience.
• Complete Form I-9 processing, verify supporting documentation, and monitor compliance with federal I-9 requirements.
• Conduct and review new hire background checks per company policies and compliance standards.
• Manage the global new hire swag program.
• Process Workday employee lifecycle transactions including hires, job changes, transfers, and terminations.
• Process voluntary and involuntary terminations and assist with employee correspondence and documentation.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or a related field (required).
• 1–2 years of experience in Human Resources, HR Operations, Employee Services, or a related function (required).
• Experience supporting onboarding, employee lifecycle processes, and HR administration (preferred).
• Familiarity with HRIS systems; Workday experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail with data accuracy and confidentiality.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
• Proficiency in Google Suites Tools and Resources.

Details

• Location: Chennai, India.
• Schedule (IST): 12:00 PM–4:00 PM and 6:00 PM–10:00 PM.
• Supports HR operations across North America (one role) and across EMEA (another role).
