Information Security Engineer I - Cyber Ops (DLP Monitoring)

Overview

Information Security Engineer I for Cybersecurity Operations, focused on Data Loss Prevention (DLP) monitoring and supporting insider risk and incident investigations.

What you'll do

• Monitor DLP alerts and incidents across endpoints, email, cloud applications, and collaboration platforms.
• Investigate DLP policy violations and suspicious user activities to assess risk and business impact.
• Perform triage, validation, categorization, and escalation of DLP incidents per procedures and SLAs.
• Analyze alerts from DLP and related security solutions including Insider Risk Management and CASB.
• Document investigation findings and maintain incident records for audit and compliance needs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to validate legitimate activities and resolve false positives.
• Support tuning and optimization of DLP policies and monitoring rules.

What you'll need

• 1–2 years of experience in cybersecurity, security operations, IT support, risk management, or related domains.
• Foundational understanding of cybersecurity, information protection, and data security principles.
• Ability to investigate alerts and identify suspicious user behaviors or policy violations.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to document incidents clearly and communicate findings effectively.
• Understanding of confidentiality, privacy, and compliance requirements for sensitive data.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
