Overview
Information Security Engineer II role within Mastercard’s Business Security Enablement Guild, focused on keeping security embedded across web and digital commerce environments.
What you'll do
- Perform Third Party Software Security Evaluations to help customers meet business requirements securely.
- Conduct technology reviews using security principles, theories, and concepts.
- Use Artificial Intelligence to solve relevant business problems and improve efficiency.
- Understand and own existing business processes to identify efficiency opportunities.
- Represent the team in meetings and drive initiatives independently.
What you'll need
- Intermediate knowledge of information security, risk management, and data privacy within digital commerce.
- Good understanding of identity management, user authentication, and authorization principles.
- Broad awareness of security engineering concepts and practices across the software development lifecycle.
- Demonstrated experience designing secure multi-domain Internet-facing applications.
- Experience advising on security architecture for web-based network environments and secure communication.
- Intermediate hands-on scripting or “Vibe coding.”
Nice to have
- Technical experience with Java or a similar enterprise programming language for secure coding best practices.
- Experience with mobile security architecture concepts, design, and implementation along with Android and iOS.
- Working knowledge and technical security experience with Linux.
