Intern - Maintenance Engineering & Services

Overview

Join the Maintenance Engineering and Services team as an intern to understand how Airbus maximizes operational availability for airlines worldwide. The role provides exposure to Scheduled Maintenance Services, Aircraft Maintenance Planning, regulations, fleet optimization and technical data improvement.

What you'll do

• Shadow Maintenance Program & Services Engineers.
• Observe the lifecycle of Scheduled Maintenance Services.
• Learn about Airbus fleet optimization strategies.
• Contribute to Direct Maintenance Costs reductions.
• Establish and deliver timely and consistent solutions to requests raised by customers.
• Manage the production of Scheduled Maintenance Services, covering all Airbus A/C programs.
• Ensure that airline maintenance programmes/planning deliverables are performed in accordance with customer expectations.
• Contribute to a Technical Data improvement/transformation project as a Technical Data Aircraft System - Business Operations representative.

What you'll need

• Education to an AME / degree level (or equivalent) in Engineering or a related discipline.
• General technical knowledge of aircraft, their maintenance and their operations.
• Good organization, structured working methods and good computer knowledge / GSuite knowledge.
• Knowledge of EASA Part-M regulation.
• Knowledge of Airlines/MRO (Maintenance Repair and Overhaul) - Part M /145.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Highly customer service oriented.
• Ability to listen well, be proactive and be creative.
• Reactivity and adaptability in a changing and demanding environment.
• Negotiation level of English.
