Internship Medical Engineering & Surgical Navigation 6 months | Start Spring 2027

Overview

6-month Medical Engineering & Surgical Navigation internship with Stryker’s Research and Development team focused on technologies for neurosurgical navigation.

What you'll do

• Support development of new tracking technologies for surgical navigation systems.
• Contribute to evaluation concepts combining software, hardware, and technical data.
• Conduct research on medical engineering, surgical navigation, and tracking technologies.
• Analyze technical data to support technology development and innovation activities.
• Collaborate with an international team and contribute ideas for future medical device concepts.

What you'll need

• Be enrolled in a Master’s degree in a related field (e.g., biomedical engineering, medical engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, mechatronics, or related).
• Have basic knowledge of data processing, image processing, electronics, or software development.
• Have experience with MATLAB or Python.
• Have strong analytical skills with interest in innovative medical technologies and complex hardware/software systems.
• Have good English language skills (minimum B2).
