Internship - Physical Design & Integration

Overview

Airbus India is seeking an intern for the Physical Design & Integration department in Bangalore. The internship focuses on analysis and optimization/design related to system installation and the electrical architecture of cabin and airframe functional electrics, including the Cabin Assignment Module.

What you'll do

• Perform analysis and optimization/design for understanding of system installation and electrical architecture of cabin and airframe functional electrics.
• Work on the Cabin Assignment Module.
• Develop knowledge of the aircraft build process and basic understanding of aircraft systems.
• Demonstrate agility and autonomy in a transnational environment.
• Work as part of a team in a highly collaborative environment.
• Coordinate the efforts of a large team of diverse specialists and experts.
• Navigate the Product Structure and demonstrate DMU understanding.
• Apply understanding of aircraft function, operation and processes.
• Work with a tutor to identify professional objectives and develop skills.

What you'll need

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor/Master Degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Industrial, Civil or Electrical Engineering.
• Knowledge of aircraft industrialization principles.
• Knowledge of the aircraft build process, including Configuration Management principles.
• Knowledge of systems installation and various systems, such as electrical and mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of production management and understanding of manufacturing processes.
• Team spirit.
• Proactive approach.
• Autonomous working ability.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent English.

Nice to have

• Data analytics skills.

• Internship located in Bangalore.
• Ideally a 6 months internship.
• Expected start in January 2027, subject to flexibility.
