Overview
The Junior Analyst, Risk Management role involves monitoring transactions and merchants for risk or fraud, handling disputes and chargebacks, addressing stakeholder queries, and helping reduce monetary losses.
What you'll do
- Monitor transactions and merchants to identify risk or fraud and take necessary action immediately.
- Handle transaction queries in cases of discrepancies where disputes arise from the customer.
- Work closely with partner banks and Cybercell to handle chargebacks and customer disputes.
- Ensure timely recovery to reduce losses.
- Speak to merchants or customers to understand and address queries and concerns.
- Identify innovative ways to reduce risks by providing inputs on enhancing processes and reducing monetary losses.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Knowledge about a customer support app or CRM, such as Freshdesk.
- Knowledge of stages or levels of chargebacks.
- Knowledge of the penalty involved at the arbitration stage.
- Knowledge of technical chargebacks.
- Knowledge of Visa and Mastercard guidelines in brief.
- Knowledge of reason codes in relation to fraud chargebacks.
- Interpersonal skills.
- A friendly and pleasant demeanor over phone and email.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Listening skills to understand, anticipate and resolve queries arising from various stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Ability to identify anomalies or suspicious behaviours.
